Braided Nylon Non-Absorbable Suture

DESCRIPTION

Polyamid™ is a sterile non-absorbable encased braided surgical suture composed of Nylon type 6 or Nylon type 6/6.

TENSILE STRENGTH

As with any nylon suture, though not absorbed, progressive hydrolysis of the suture in vivo may result in gradual loss of tensile strength over time. Nylon suture should not be used where permanent retention of tensile strength is required.
